Caso Aberto is a PSX-style detective game: an isometric investigation in the spirit of the board game Clue, where the killer, the weapon and the room are drawn again every time you play.
Demo v0.1.0 is the prologue, The Vilela House. Brazil, 1997: Mr. Augusto Vilela is dead in the hall of his own home, and something in the house doesn't want the case solved.
What's in the demo
- A new case every game: 5 suspects, 5 weapons and 5 rooms picked from 8 of each.
- Two detectives, Otávio Brandão and Clara Vidal, and three difficulty levels.
- Photograph the scene, send evidence to forensics from the police car, question the suspects and fill in your journal (case board, suspect files, map, clues and photos).
- The Shadow: it hunts you through the house. Hide, use your flashlight and your camera flash.
- English and Portuguese, Windows and Linux.
What's next
This is the first public version and we want to know what you think: what confused you, what was fun, and where you got stuck. If people enjoy it, the plan is a campaign with more cases and a multiplayer mode. Comments on itch.io are very welcome!
